Did I disappoint you or
let you down?
Should I be feeling guilty or let the judge’s frown?
Because I saw the end, before we'd begun
Yes, I saw you were blind and I knew I had won
So, I took what's mine
by eternal right
Took your soul out into the night
It may be over but it won't stop there
I am here for you if you'd only care
You touched my heart,
you touched my soul
Changed my life and all my goals
And love is blind, and that I knew when
My heart was blinded by you
Lewanay was saying good bye to ignorant dervish as more than
just a friend. As she walked away from him; Dervish couldn't help but feel a
deep ache in his chest. It wasn't just the physical distance that would
separate them now, but Lewanay love and care will always be with him. The separation,
realization hit him like a ton of bricks, as dervish had always secretly
harbored feelings for her that went beyond simple friendship. He stood there,
watching her fade into the distance, his heart heavy with the weight of what he
had lost.
The regret and self-doubt washed over Dervish like a wave,
and couldn't shake the feeling that he had missed out on something special.
Despite the pain of Lewanay early goodbye, he knew deep down that he wanted her
to be happy.
Thus, Seconds turned into hours and hours turned into days,
but the ache in Dervish chest never truly went away. Dervish found himself
constantly thinking about her, replaying her memories over and over in his
mind. Dervish missed her texts, her emoj, and the way she made him feel alive
by her written expressions on Insta. It was as if a part of him had been ripped
away and dervish was left incomplete without Lewanay.
Despite his best
efforts to move on, his heart refused to let go of the hope that maybe one day,
she would come back to him.
In the End, As Dervish went through his days, he couldn't
help but wonder if she felt the same way. Did she think about him as much as he
thought about her? Did Lewanay miss him as much as he missed her? He would find
himself staring at his phone, hoping for a text or call from her, but it never
came. Yet, there were moments when he would catch a glimpse of hope. Maybe it
was the way her name would still appear in his suggested contacts, or a like on
a social media post that felt like a small connection. He couldn't help but
cling to these moments, hoping that maybe, just maybe, she still thought of him
too. He knew he needed to move on, but the thought of her still held a grip on
his heart that he couldn't shake.
The silence only made him for hope of comeback.
I know your fears and you know mine
We've had our doubts but now we're fine
And I love you, I swear that's true
I cannot live without you
For Lewanay
