Life, Hope Joy And Compromise

& Compromise This is the place where fun never dies. It was told by a close companion at late dusk after university classes. I nevertheless recollected thought while I was paying for two months' tuition fees for my younger son.  The swings of life change their colors with time. Sages claim that life possesses the most profound meaning of survival, while young folk says eat, drink, and enjoy. Women identify it with the means of a rich and lovely husband.  Graduates and jobless define it in the means of hope. Old fellas in the form of financial freedom and healthy sex life. Bachelors and teenagers aim for true love.  Life is a relative thing. Masses argue that the ultimate solution to doing something astonishing is earning money and adopting a lifestyle that is not similar to normal. Why are humanoid groups marching in different avenues of comparison? Theodore Roosevelt once said, " Comparison is the thief of the joy." Comparison is to determine ones worth with th...

Alone with the Alone

Alone with the Alone Dear Beloved! Let us go toward Union. And If we find the road that leads to separation, We will Destroy Separation.  Listen oh Dearly Beloved, I am the reality of the world, The centre of the circumference, I am the parts and the Whole. I am the well established between Heaven and Earth, I have created perception in you only in  order to be the object of my perception. If then you perceive me, You perceive yourself, But you cannot perceive through yourself. It is through my eyes That you see me and see yourself, Through your eyes cannot see me. Dearly Beloved,  I have called you so often and you have not heard me, I have shown myself to you so often and you have not seen me, I have made myself  fragrance so often and you have not smelled me. Savours food and you have not tasted me. Why can you not reach me,  Through the object you touch, Or breathe me through sweet perfume? Why Do you not See me? Why Do you not See me? (A Poem by Ibn...

The Alchemy of Happiness

One Day Imam Al Ghazali woke up early in morning, as usual he offered Fajar Prayer. He asked his Brother Ahmed Al Ghazali, what day it was? ; his younger brother replied "Monday". The Imam Ghazali Asked him to bring his white shroud(Cloak),kissed it and stretched himself full length and saying "Lord, I obey willingly," Breathed his Last. And underneath his head rest, they found the below words, composed by him at night.  " Say to my friends, when they look upon me, Dead Weeping for me, mourning for me in sorrow Don't Believe that this corpse you see is myself In the name of God, I tell you, It is not I I am Spirit, and this is naught but flesh It was my abode and garment for time. I am treasure, by talisman kept hid, Fashioned of dust, which served me as a shrine, I am a pearl, which has left it's shell deserted,  I am a bird, and this body was my cage Whence I have now floron forth and it is left as a token Praise to God, Who hath now set me free And p...

Bed of Roses

Bed of Roses Sy ed Jamal Shah Where is the horizon of nature? How I can find it? When can I see and meet? The romance of horizon, clouds and mountains standing shoulder to shoulder, hugging each other and giving its audience a sense of love and happiness? To view and experience the first rays of Sun, the king of light, rising above the cold peaks, lightens the woods and glows the white pink cheeks of its inhabitants? This was all a dream of young man busy in capital rat race.     Summer, August 2018 at 9am on fine bright day, I was heading to mountainous country side with my elder brother Dr Ali Abbas alias abba and nephew Salman.   Here, the story begins from the night before we took start. Salman said “why not to visit a place where we can hang out with natural wonders, place of calmness and wildlife. As he announced his scheme, Abbas added sugar to tea by showing encouragement to his plan. I was thinking with myself that either they are serious or only makin...

Master and Commander

Master and Commander Syed Jamal Shah Life is not like a restaurant where you get good stuff first then you pay the price .     Neither for military generals, politicians, businessmen or CEO’s. Common people speculate that they are meant to lose, employees and workers are receiving a tough break and making castles in the air with ill hopes. Big offices and stretch car-parking have nothing to do with walk of life, good job and luxurious lifestyle are becoming mainstream mantra by working 9to5 or not. It is not flight of fancy, it resides on the side of the successful people, feature of A players and game changers steer their boats through it. They are committed to exploit these beliefs in hilarious ways, as strategy for wining and tool for growth; it’s a feather in the cap of renowned athletes’ and they routinely practice secrete principles as weapon against challengers to uplift the strength versus protection, and active intellectual personalities uses it as safegua...
